Recruitment Process

The AFP recruitment process involves a number of gateways designed to determine an applicant’s suitability to meet the requirements of the role. Applicants must first check that they meet the AFP minimum entry requirements and demonstrate a commitment to the AFP's core values of integrity, commitment, excellence, accountability, fairness, respect and trust.

The recruitment process includes, but may not be limited to:

  1. Register with the AFP
  2. Entrance Exam
  3. Fitness Assessment
  4. Detailed Application and Integrity Check
  5. Recruit Assessment Validation Centre
  6. Security Assessment
  7. Psychological & Physical Medical Assessment
