Sample questions are provided by the AFP and ACER and can be found in the Candidate Information Booklet which is available for free from this website. The sample questions will provide candidates with an understanding of the content, style and structure of the examination.

It is recommended that you attempt these questions to identify areas needing development, then continue practicing to improve your results. You may choose to complete the sample questions several times to become familiar with the types of questions you will encounter in the exam. It is also a good idea to time yourself so you become familiar with time constraints.

AFP – ONLINE PRACTICE TESTS

ACER provides full-length, timed, online practice tests for the following four components of the AFP Entrance Exam:

  • Literacy
  • Writing Skills
  • Numeracy
  • Abstract Reasoning

The Online Practice Tests includes one sample test for each component. These tests match the display and computer functionality experienced in the final exam.

Online Practice Tests can be purchased individually or as a set at the time of registration, or after you have completed your exam booking. These practice tests are only available to candidates who book an exam.

The Literacy, Numeracy and Abstract Reasoning practice assessments provide scored, timed test experiences with questions similar in design and difficulty to those included in the final exam.

The Writing Skills Practice assessment is unscored. You will be presented with a report topic and be asked to type your answer in the same way as the exam day, however no personalised marking will be provided and a sample report will be displayed for your reference.

Multiple attempts are permitted, however the tests contain one set only.
